Colorful Blues is a vision I created off the simple thought of being present and understanding the world around me. I began to find my passion in life, helping others. Helping others in a way where I see my passion able to make change. I see potential in our society to change the way we all view our lives as valuable. I decided to start tackling my problems from the roots up and to always try and find the root problem of a challenge or feeling I face. I have seen many long-term benefits in doing so, and this is why I created this brand. Because I think many mental health problems our society faces are not because there is something wrong with us, but because we assume there is something wrong with us instead of searching for a root problem. Everyone faces challenges and there is always space for change and improvements in our lives. There are so many factors playing into the way we think that we may not even notice. I want Colorful Blues to be a brand that helps attack the root problems of mental health struggles. It is time we take a new approach to mental health struggles and start connecting them with other problems we face in our lives instead of immediately assuming our minds our the problem. Why do we convince ourselves personal struggles define us? Showing vulnerability when talking about your mental health does not make you weaker, it makes you stronger. I want to keep this brand as real as possible because that is the problem I see in our society. We hide too much, we are afraid to be ourselves, and we need to understand the beauty in the life presented to us. Creating a conversation about what you are going through helps you to understand why you feel the way you do. The motive behind the creation of Colorful Blues is to spread awareness of the stigma surrounding mental health. We as humans need to accept failures and bad times as normal. These experiences teach us lessons and mold us into better people. It’s important to understand there are brighter days ahead.
